C2 SmartWalk
The C2 SmartWalk is a smart crosswalk light. It improves pedestrian visibility in dark and bad weather. The solution makes it easier for drivers and other road users to spot a crosswalk when there has crossers.
Principle
The smart crosswalk light is suitable for places that need extra attention to improve visibility for pedestrians, such as children’s school routes. The solution is also suitable for areas on the periphery of urban areas, for example, where traffic speeds are increasing rapidly and pedestrian crossings can come up unexpectedly.
The crosswalk light brightens either automatically by motion detectors or by push button. The brightened light attracts the attention of drivers and enables better visibility of pedestrians moving across the road.
Benefits and savings
The C2 SmartWalk is, above all, an excellent security solution and also very necessary in Finland due to the long dark period. The solution is able to promote safe movement on the crosswalk.
The lighting solution does not generate high maintenance costs, as the lighting only gets brighter when a crosswalk is used. With the push-button solution, brighter lighting is turned on when the pedestrian presses the button and for motion sensors the lighting is turned on when the sensor recognizes the pedestrian approaching the pedestrian crossing.

C2 SmartAlarm programmable warning light
C2 SmartAlarm flashing light attracts attention and warns road users even during the day. A good solution, for example, in the vicinity of a day care centre, where there are many small road users even during daylight hours.
Flashing times can be programmed daily via the C2 SmartLight central control system. The battery allows the light to flash even day-time.
