The C2 SmartLight light sensor measures the ambient brightness and is specially optimized for a brightness level of 0 to 50 lux at which the outdoor lighting is switched on and off.

A maximum of nine light sensors can be installed in each measuring range and the control system collects and averages the measurement results of the sensors. If a sensor fails, the system discards the measurement result for that sensor.
